Samsung S7070 and S5150It seems that Samsung keeps rolling out product after product. A few of their most recent products have targeted female, mobile phone buyers. Prior to the announcement of the Diva design line, the company released two more mobile phones aimed at the fairer sex. The two latest ‘girly’ phones in their portfolio will be the Samsung S7070 and the S5150.  The two mobile phones are quite different from each other and appear to be aimed at two different types of customers. You have to hand it to Samsung. They do recognize that not every female is looking for the same thing in a phone.

The S7070 is a touchscreen phone. It has a 3 inch display screen with QVGA resolution and easy navigation. It utilizes TouchWiz interface which makes the phone extremely easy to maneuver. The S7070 comes with Bluetooth, headsets and a MicroSD slot which allows users to add memory if needed.

The S5150 has a smaller screen then the S7070. Its display is only slightly over two inches. This clamshell mobile phone has a 3 megapixel camera, shiny exterior, a luminous case and QVGA resolution.

Neither phone has been priced as of yet. Both are set to debut in local retail stores and online sometime during the first Quarter of 2010. As that date approaches, more specs as well as the price of each phone will be released. Until that time, the techie community will have to speculate and wait until the phones finally go public.

Phones such as the S7070 and S5150 are becoming increasingly popular and commonplace, largely because women have been a market that has been underexploited. For many years, manufacturers assumed, though incorrectly, that women were not fans of technology. That notion is beginning to become outdated. Marketing studies are proving that women are indeed interested in technology and are willing to pull out their wallets in order to back up those interests.
