Samsung S7070 and S5150All the style conscious ladies watch out as Samsung officially announced two of their Diva Collection 2010 cell phones, the S7070 and the S5150 Diva Folder. Samsung takes the fashion value in mobile phones to new level by announcing these models, which can hardly be distinguished from a designer fashion accessory.

The announced Diva sets were briefly displayed for introduction earlier during November 2009 before their official release. Both the phones offer unique sets of features which are expected to attract a considerable number of mobile phone users; here is a brief view to help you catch an idea.

Samsung S7070 Diva

The Samsung S7070 Diva is a stylish touch-screen phone with an interesting embossed texture and design. It features a 2.8” QVGA touch resistive screen supported by TouchWiz user interface and a 3.0 mega pixel camera, and FM Radio with RDS apart from other features like Bluetooth and SD memory card slot.

The phone uses GSM/EDGE technology for connectivity and allows you to stay connected and updated with social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace through an interesting pop up SNS notification interface. Samsung also has tried to offer some innovation with the camera with the Beauty Effect and the Lomo Effect features for automatically enhanced images.

Samsung S5150 Diva Folder

The Samsung S5150 Diva Folder, earlier introduced by the name Olivia, is the flip-phone sister of the S7070. The Diva Folder can be considered the cheaper alternative to the S7070, as the phone is not touch-screen, and features a relatively shorter 2.2” screen with QVGA resolution and limited connectivity.

The rest of the features of the phone are similar to the S7070, but what sets the S5150 Diva Folder apart is the design of the phone, which is covered with an embossed dark exterior with a silvery touch and a glossy finish. The exterior design also includes a LED display, which can display the clock and incoming call, while the phone is in the folded form.

Samsung will be releasing the Diva Collection in Russia, Netherlands and other parts of the EU in January 2000 and later in China and South-East Asia.
