Glamour and Wizardry at their Best

The Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani is as well crafted as its Omnia Pro twin but in a more bodacious gold outfit.   It has the same full QWERTY slider touchscreen body measuring 118.5 x 58.3 x 16.4mm and weighing 164 grams. You get a tilting display when fully slid out that you won’t get in the Omni Pro.  This added hardware feature makes it easier to work on the tactile QWERTY keyboard and view its brilliant 3.5-inch WVGA AMLOED touchscreen display.

It also comes with a more generous 8 GB of internal memory where the Pro only has a modest 1GB.  Then there’s the same autofocus camera with flash but with a higher 5-megapixel resolution.

Other than these, the new Samsung Armani is the same quad band GSM and tri band WCDMA/UMTS phone with HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 2.0 data connectivity features. It uses Samsung’s  powerful 800 MHz S3C6410 processor with a separate graphics engine. It runs on the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system that should make corporate geeks happy with its native multitasking abilities, full internet browsing, push email and MS Office File-reading capability. You also get a dual homescreen to represent you private personal and office identities that you can toggle between depending on your mobile need for the moment.

Key European cities should start seeing the Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani in time for the holidays.  This is without doubt the most feature-rich fashion phone carrying a name like Giorgio Armani that’s as impressive on the outside as it is inside.
