Vodafone is releasing the 360 service and they have Samsung and Linux supporting this launch with the 360 H1 and 360 M1 mobile phones. I personally think that the H1 is the big ticket here. Despite being exclusive to Vodafone, people will be switching. The great hardware on this phone and the 360 service are more than enough to convince me that this device is worth having. Just how nice is the 360 service? Allow me to elaborate.

Vodafone is not the first company to think that creating a truly comprehensive address book is a good idea, but they are the first to actually make it work. Vodafone 360 will not limit me to accessing the service on my mobile phone, but on the PC or laptop as well. After all, the combined contacts are information found on the phone, the computer and on internet profiles. I am particularly looking forward to being able to track instant messaging conversations as well. I have wasted too many hours tracking details on message archives and my emails. With 360, all the information you need comes out neatly on a single page.

Aside from the 360 service, we get a Linux 3G smart phone courtesy of Samsung. This phone has an AMOLED touch screen, and we need more of that awesomeness. AMOLED equates to high resolution display and accurate finger tracking. Thanks to the Linux interface, you will be accessing features and functions on this phone smoothly without problems. I want this phone, and yes, I will switch to Vodafone just to get my hands on it. The only question now is if LiMo will be coming out with a newer OS soon.
